Q1: TRANSFORMATION AND TRUST

2020 saw unprecedented transformations across the globe. While weaknesses have been brutally highlighted, resilience and innovation inherent in humanity has also triumphed. Perhaps the concept that has shown both the starkest weaknesses as well as resilience is that of trust. In Q1 2021 Research World asks how has research, business and society adapted to the changes wrought by 2020? Has trust been affected?

Q2: VISION AND VALUE

We all face a new world which is filled with discrepancies. It is more complicated but also simpler with the home at the center of our existence in a way that it has not been for a long time. Those privileged to have digital access have completely new worlds opening up to them while those without access are struggling to survive. What is the vision for the future of work, life, business and societies? What will our value look like going forward? What do we value and how we create and sustain it?

Q3: AMPLIFY AND ACCELERATE

With vaccines being rolled out and (hopefully) accessible to more people we may be on the road to a more stable future. This is the time to take the learnings of the months before and amplify and accelerate them for a brave new world. What does this new world look like? What have we learnt and where are the challenges and opportunities?

Q4: FUTURE PROOFING AND FORESIGHT

Is it time to look to the future at the end of 2021? Are our lives different to the beginning of the year? Is there light at the end of the tunnel? What will future proof us and ensure we are on a sustainable, better path?
